"I love my work," he says. "I love my life ...and retirement does not exist ...there is no ending, just new beginnings," he adds. Mr. Duggal is a couple years shy of 70 years old, but retirement is not a word that exists in his vocabulary.
Mr. Duggal confesses that he became very successful, very fast and very young and thought that he could walk on water. Fortunately for him he was able to recover and says that was the beginning of a "new Duggal," who stopped doing things by the seat of his pants.
He never takes no for an answer and says that if we cannot make your dreams come true, nobody can. Mr. Duggal is known to have stuck his neck time and again, and does not take no for an answer. He says that there are only two things that can happen: failure or you gain experience. "I have a life long affair to make things happen," he says in a matter-of-fact voice.

Mr. Duggal is a big believer in modern technology and innovation. He invented the "dip and dunk" method about 40 years ago while working out of his bathroom in his Manhattan apartment.

Mr. Duggal was born and brought up in Punjab, and he migrated to the USA in 1951. His interest in photography developed when his grandfather, who had a photography and watch shop gave him a Kodak brownie camera.
